In recognition of the company’s rapid growth, both nationally and internationally, an excellent opportunity exists for an experienced, high-achieving Sales Engineer to join the NSW team as a technical sales specialist.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate should be a qualified structural or mechanical engineer with a strong understanding and experience of the rack industry. By applying your technical expertise, you will be able to consult with new customers confidently and provide them with a racking solution tailored specifically for them. As a result of your technical capability and sales experience, you will have a confident ability to hunt for new customers and generate new business in New South Wales.


  • Strong desire to generate new business
  • Prospect for potential new clients, and cold call as appropriate within the market and geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional networks
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and key internal stakeholders
  • Offer solutions to new and existing customers regarding their warehouse requirements and provide a technical solution
  • Build relationships with key decision makers
  • Prepare quotations and forward orders to the supply chain team for delivery arrangements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Project management that ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope
  • Ensure KPI measures are achieved


  • Previous racking industry experience preferred
  • Provide professional technical solutions and engineering support
  • High level of product knowledge
  • Deliver the most superior product and solutions through feedback and communications with clients, the sales team and on-site investigation
  • Experience working with and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Regulations
  • Highly experienced in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation
  • Intermediate level of MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Highly developed time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible, possessing excellent organisational skills
  • Punctual and well presented
  • Ability to travel interstate as required
  • Personal resilience and the ability to sustain a high level of energy and positivity
  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment
